Mate.
Henderson play acting (probably a red letter of the law but he's Neymared it)
Maguire dive
Trippier had one where Muriel stepped a foot away from him and he jumped like he caught him
The general presence of Alli means diving is happening
Lingard in the second half
And Kane was falling every time he was touched late on to relieve pressure

Tinfoil hat time.

Sorry x

Apart from Kane and Pickford plus Tripper (excluding the goal) the team lost shape and discipline.

Walker's hesitation due to the complete lack of movement in midfield nearly lead to them getting back in.

Alli and Sterling need to swap position to allow space and support for Kane against a very strong centre back pairing.

Lingard and Henderson need to do a lot more in terms of keeping possession so could see Dier coming in for Lingard to contain Sweden's counter-attack plus filling in for the full backs.

We can beat Sweden

It was. But given all the stuff England do I don't see them or their supporters being in any way arsed if they did something similar

I'd be arsed. I was arsed about Maguire doing the VAR thing even though there was a clear headbutt (which certainly wasn't Neymar level flopping)

Colombia didn't bother trying to attack until they went behind, before that the game plan was to stop any football happening.

Well what was Hendo doing while Maguire was making the VAR signal?

Also I don't really see England as an example of open free flowing football but yes Colombia did set up defensively. That probably isn't the case if James is healthy. England were full strength

The one I bolded about Kane.
Oh sorry missed that. I remember one where he did the jump sideways into the defender and then fall. There was at least another where he felt the defender and his legs couldn't support his weight. Clever but certainly taking advantage of the ref being weak

As I stated above, Colombia without James are basically a Fat Sam side. Lack of creativity, difficulty in stringing 3 passes together. Only with defense. Everton should sign Mina pronto. Decent D, knack for big headers.

Love Mina. Despite not seeing the field he is at Barca. Today they tried to basically play by having both Quintero and Cuadrado on the right. It was easy to defend once England realized it. Mojica was not a viable left wing back type player and it made the balance awful

What's the excuse for digging up the penalty spot then? That was just.... really??? lollollollol

I expect us to smash Sweden, but if the semi or the final goes to penalties I see us having an advantage now after that drama tonight. No longer will the side fear that situation. You have to praise Southgate and his staff for how they've transformed the mentally of the players.
