Second question Santos hears after that performance is about Ronaldo.

Second question Ramos hear after a world cup hat trick is about Ronaldo.

Get the sycophantic crap binned off, muppets.
They really shouldn't have brought him. I think they'll be OK anyway because Ramos gave them every reason to keep him out of the team but I really think they're fortunate. His ego can sink you.

Literally Thursday
That was out of context. The point being made by @Drico was that France were vulnerable in their half of the draw because they then had Spain thrown their way. My view was and is that they have nothing to fear from Spain, England or Portugal.

If I were to reassess that now I'd obvioulsy just say that only Portugal on last night's evidence will be a significant threat to a Brazil v France cup final.

The overall point was that I see England for what they are: bottlers who can only turn up when it really matters most...and we'll see that again on Saturday.

So by that rational France are still vulnerable to Morocco as they beat Spain who would have given France a game.

Here's an Olive branch. Why not join the rest of us knowing that anyone in the Quarter Finals can win it. They have earned that right by getting to the last 8 of the World Cup.

Saturday, when it matters most you mean?!

My belief is that France and Brazil are head and shoulders above all the others and have been on a collision course since the draw was made earlier this year.

Why would I ditch that now?

To stop yourself being exposed as a WUM maybe just accept that every team has the chance to win this thing. You just watched Spain get put out by Morocco!

You don’t. Credit to the manager for having the stones to stick the big whining baby in the bench where he belongs.
Fernando Santos won the Euro in 2016 - and Ronaldo, great as he was, was AWOL for the final. Santos has big capital as a result. He'll do what he wants and he really doesn't pander to Ronaldo if he feels he weakens the side in some way.

I dont believe that. ?‍♂️
I agree with @davek. I also don't believe that every team left can win it. I wouldn't give Morocco or Croatia a prayer. I very much doubt the Dutch will win it. I think it highly unlikely the Argentinians will win it. England, to me, are a long shot.

I suspect Holland, Argentina, and England "could" win it - but not Morocco or this Croatian side, game as they are. Brazil are clear favourites to me because their side of the draw is, in my view, that bit easier than France's. Portugal have an easier route than the French. So, one of those three for me.

I risk making myself look silly if England or Morocco win on Saturday, but my feeling is if anyone is going to knock France out before the final it's more likely to be Portugal than England.

Since before the tournament started my predicted semi-final line up has been HOL-BRA and FRA-POR with Brazil to get their revenge for 1998 in the final.

But obviously I hope England win on Saturday. Morocco too for that matter.
