I’d leave Saka. Two wingers that stay wide is what they need here.
Wow that was so bad
Difficult to know how such a group could play so badly.
Just so slow and so little movement ( strangely reminiscent of Everton ).
He has to get pace and creativity onto the pitch.
I'd start with Palmer on for Saka and ( dare I say it ) Gordon for either Bellingham or Foden.
Dreadful management with such a ridiculously unbalanced team.

Nah, not buying it. They are all top players. Silly to judge players on international form rather than club form imo

Regardless of manager, these are on average about £200k a week players for England - they ought to be finding ways to rip Slovakia apart.

As a striker
The system is the problem. Like-for-like changes have been his attempted solution all tournament thus far.
Mainoo off for Gordon or Eze. Go to a CM 3 with Foden furthest forward.

A cliche, but the next goal decides this.
You would imagine England's pressure - impotent as it has been so far - combined with Slovakia's complete concession of the game since the goal will eventually lead to an equaliser.
So this comes down to whether Slovakia can create a big chance before that equaliser, and, if they can, whether they can take it.
I thought the Slovaks were the better side before the goal and comfortably second best since - albeit, partly by design.
So, England are now in the margin of error - vulnerable to the Slovaks catching them with their next big chance. Kyle Walker has been abysmal. Tripper started very poorly too. But never fear. The television ads tell me that Jude has got this.
