Well, not sure I want to update this, in case I spook it, but was told earlier that there is no reason she wont make a full recovery.

She is still in Intensive Intensive care, (they have 2 levels), but doing all the right things they would expect at this stage, even some physio ffs!

Breathed on her own for a bit, (she got tired, or knowing Nikki, bored), off sedation, can communicate a bit, and a bit of delerium/paranoia. (No, I didnt know it was a medical condition neither).

From this on NYE. Astonished, grateful, delighted, hopeful, and not gonna lie, very humbled by the support from everyone on here, and increasingly, (jungle drums, y'know), the real world.

There will be more challenges to overcome, no doubt, but reckon Nikki has a fighters chance to do so.
Good luck with that mate.

Amazing news. Keep thinking positively, can't imagine how hard this is on you as well, mate.

Sending love to you both, stay strong for her.

Absolutely brilliant Roy

That's brilliant news, Roydo. I'm so pleased for you both. You must feel high on relief, mate.

When you go through something like that, it makes you realise just how brilliant the people who work in the NHS are. Not just on a professional level. I mean just really caring, lovely people. Nurses, in particular, really restore my faith in human nature.

Superb news that mate, made up for both of you !

Astonished, grateful, delighted, hopeful, and not gonna lie, very humbled by the support from everyone on here

There's two reasons for that support mate.

Firstly, it's a human response to feel empathy with folk going through tough times, regardless of how well you know them, or how much you like them ( or not ).
Secondly, anyone that's dealt with you, or knows anything about you, knows what a lovely bloke you are.

You do talk funny though
