She made my first target, and now the second. Walking, talking, eating, breathing, (sake, sounds like Cliff Richard that), and they are targeting her to be home "soon".

Been a punishing and emotional few weeks, been pretty bad for Nikki as well (!), but it is looking like she will make it.

I have only just read this thread but it sounds like you and Nikki have been through it over the last few weeks glad to hear she is on the mend.
11 fellas kicking a ball around seems pretty insignificant when there is a serious family crisis keep your head up and be strong for her mate.

lol All done mate. Retired basically, (technically in 2 weeks), so have the place clean as a whistle for her. Then absolutely nothing for neither of us to fret about. One day at a time, slowly she will be fighting fit.

She has astounded pretty much every medical professional that has been involved in her recovery with how quickly she responded.
