Had a few Pms asking for updates, due to my general radio silence in here. Thats cos I made a little agreement with myself not to post much cos lets face it, other folk bleating about their health is up there with "interesting" tales about ones holiday/kids/job.

But anyrate. Nikki is doing really well. Not out of danger, still being in intensive care kinda confirms that, but is now engaged in her recovery programme, after being terrified by it.

She has some idea of what she went through, (a nurse let on that the pain in her chest was most likely the bust rib during CPR), but not a clue exactly how seriously close she was to a final curtain call.

I had a chat with the Doctor who saved her life the other day, and he said, in a round about medical way, that the whole ICU have sort of bought into her recovery, with it being, medically, pretty rare, which was nice. (I looked it up; 6%.......)

So, tldr, but my tiny, pretty (4ft 9, 6 stone wringing wet) angel has to date, kept them guessing.

So other than polite replies to posts in here being "doing fine thanks", this will be the last update till she is out of the ICU.

As ever, thanks thanks and thanks again for your kind wishes and prayers. So far, someone, or something listened. That, or an extraordinary lass confounded the best ICU experts in Europe. (That is official apparently).

Either way, each can draw their own comfort from their own belief system.

Xx

See you soon...........;)

How is nikki today can we have an update please.

Well,, she was out of the ICU yesterday, which is progress. Has started to eat and drink a bit, and has started some intensive physio. So thats good.

She was a bit freaked at her new surroundings, but will settle down soon. Had a minor setback today, but doctors are happy with her now. Just waiting on the results of a scan to confirm tomorrow.
