As a few have posted, a quick update.

Spoke today, after they did some stuff with her ventilator. Which took about an hour.

Her first words, after struggling to say anything, were, "I need a wee".

So, brain working, limbs moving, hears, speaks, and can see.

Was smiling earlier, was very pissed off with me at one point, shared a joke or 2 with her sister (at my expense) and looked bright.

Love her. She is immense.

So she’s not hoovering, cooking or doing the washing yet, you might need a new doctor tbh.....

Sorry to have missed this thread. Having read through the pages, it’s great to see all the positive wishes and thoughts and then to read mrs Roydo is on the mend!

she sounds like a leg-end mate haha, love all that, best of luck both of you on her road to full recovery
