Can't believe you've never had one, never mind never heard of one! A perfect partner to mop up the curry at the end

Let me know how you get on 👍
I honestly just picked the same thing all my life, my Mum used to take me to an Indian every year on my Birthday, it was the only time we had an Indian back then, so I just basically got the same thing for the last 40ish years.

:lol::lol::lol:

What sides and what accompanying drink? Show your working in full, spare no detail.
Oh God, Pilau rice or steamed rice sometimes, chapatis sometimes. The Mrs likes mushroom rice but I don't. Some kind of naan sometimes, not all of these things at once. Usually just one of them. Rice and bread is a bit unnecessary but sometimes it's nice to have a bit of both. It's that English obsession with having double carbs.

Perhaps another curry to share. A sagawala or chana masala or something. Something vegetably.

Poppadoms, onion salad & chutneys to kick off. Maybe a prawn puree instead if I'm bloody starving and feeling flush.

Probably some beer. It's usually a Friday or Saturday if we get curry, so usually drinking.

Man, I love a nice curry. Even better if you make an Indian feast of it.

Eat the leftovers later on or in the morning.

Ohh I'm nearly there!

The curry house near here closed ages ago. A new one is opening soon. So excited.

I’ll usually go with chicken chat puri to start, with a madras and a garlic naan for the main event. Rice is for the weak of mind IMO.

Gonna go out on a limb here. I wonder if anyone is similar. Had been a regular at a certain curry house back when I was contracting and with travel would always hit their place on return home.
The usual curry, garlic rice, share a garlic naan, and fries. Technically treble carbs. Now, the fries had to be heavily vinegared. The beauty of the rice n chips is they both pick up the curry different. The acid of the vinegar cut through the curry sauce, and then reset. Sometimes get a get side, something with loads of onions and peppers.
They had kingfisher on draft because they had cobra for a bit but they couldn't get it right and it was well dodgy. Good times. Oh, always wrapped up any excess for a treat the following day. (Even if it meant throwing lamb madras in with some chicken tikka and some other sauce) mmm!

The bizzies are on their way.
