We need to play something Irish and with a lot of fight to get in the mood…

Have at them lads! These are rubbish! 😜

Yep, proper groups of death would be way more fun
The top teams in football already have enough advantages, and they are seeded in the qualification groups, I think it’s unfair to then give them seeding for the actual tournament. This is also true for the joke that is the “Champions League”. I can usually guess at least 5 or 6 of the Quarter finalists even before a ball is kicked.

Absolutely, that a team can get beat 3 times and go on to win the champions league shows what a dull tournament it is.

That a team can claim to be the “Best Club Team” in Europe but can’t actually win their own league is a joke. They’ve diminished and ruined the European Cup because of money.

Not a rugby follower, but I assume that there was no seeding in the draw for the tournament?
I think that should happen at football tournaments, I think it’s very unfair that the top teams get seeded in the draw and avoid each other until the later stages.
The teams were seeded, but about 3 years ago, and the rankings have changed heaps since then, absolute mess but it's made for some interesting match ups.

Biggest game for me, any sport, since 95.

23 men, 32 counties - day of destiny!
