Capitalism is a web that uses any and every opportunity to make profit, regardless of consequence. There is an art in using it to highlight its inadequacies.

I'm not suggesting he's done anything wrong - I'm suggesting that him using Capitalism to sell his message of anti-capitalism is slightly ironic. After all, he has the wealth to give his book away for free if he wished.

The fact that he's using the profit for good is excellent, but it kind of highlights why his very broad damnation of capitalism is short sighted.

Disagree on the short sightedness, think he is well aware of any irony, having been hollywood lite for so long and knowing how that game is played out I reckon he's took advantage of the realisation it's all he knows.
He does seem to be the Icke du jour which is a great shame because the central message and theme of what he propses is quite laudable

Re the capitalism debate - been reading a book about it by Ha Joon Chang. True capitalism isn't the system we have today. What we're seeing today is an extreme neo-liberal mutation of capitalism which has replaced the general perception of what capitalism is.
