Not that i am directly comparing the two, but Noam Chomsky I'm sure makes a fair wedge from his books, talks etc, would you say he is a hypocrite, or isn't actually against capitalism?

Not being rich doesn't give people a monopoly on political views, and its a reverse snobbery I find a bit distasteful, though I do understand the cynicism

Okay. I perhaps should have worded my phrase differently. What would probably have been more suitable would be to say I don't understand why he has become famous, as I find him not in the least bit funny, talented or a particularly likeable person.
