Pretty sure Merica is a pretty dominant economic and military power. Culture is all down to how you want to define it I guess. Sure, they are not exactly in the same league as tons of countries when it comes to composers, philosophers, and artists from eons ago, but their impact on modern culture is massive.

Whether you like that or not is a different debate I guess.

Militarily if they were as on top as they believe then they would not be so tentative around China and Russia, but the reality is the chances of a first nuclear exchange would be started by the US or one of their proxies.
