If you can find somebody to pay 34m for Iwobi I would trade him.
I haven’t done much digging, but he’s got more goal involvement than Walcott and Iwobi and the same (5) as Bernard. Last season he was only behind Hazard for assists.
I’m not saying he’s the answer to all our problems, but on a free I wouldn’t be fuming should we bring him in, as he can offer more of an attacking threat than most at the club.
Lads being better than Iwobi isnt something to be proud of and nor should it be a reason for signing anybody.

Meh, I think he is a Match of the Day player. Has a fantastic highlight reel but hasn't even been a consistent for Bournemouth. 120 games and only 16 goals and 26 assists.
The biggest problem though is that it won't be a free he will want a massive signing on fee, his agent will want a cut, and he will be on over inflated wages.

Iwobi gets a bad rap on here. He’s always being played out of position.

Yes he’s basically had one outstanding season for his ability and the rest of the time what you’d expect for a player, playing for Bournemouth for 6 years.
He also only has 11 caps for Scotland at 26. No disrespect to Scotland but they have been utter garbage for years.

And by getting him you’re buying more weaknesses. We have a huge squad that’s probably another 2 summers of trimming it down to what Size Brands abd Ancelotti want.
In an ideal world, they probably want 17/18 very good players and 6/7 good youngsters.
