......not sure if anybody agrees, but the pitch is a bit 'sticky'. I think they have troublw ith grass in these places and the ball doesn't run as true as here. Often makes passing and running with the ball difficult. Kenny has had a smashing game, looks full of energy and enthusiasm. Ledson less impressive, but I often think that coaches look to see if they have all the basics, including the right mentality to make a top player and I suspect this kid has.

It might be that they can't water it due to water restrictions, Malta is a pretty dry place. Agree about Kenny, he's been good, I think he will play for the for the first team in time.

Can see some interest in Roberts coming soon to, especially if he gets a lot of games next year in the Championship for Fulham, looks a cracking young player like

....looked likely to get a 2nd on the break. Ledson playing a greater part as they are under the cosh. Roberts part of that excellent Fulham youth team I presume, he'll get some 1st team footy next season I expect.

Played 2 games for them this season at the end mate and has been talked up as part of their future for next season by McGath already

Guardian had Arsenal sniffing around him already last month like

...he does look a player, but more and more impressed by Ledson as the game has gone on. Good weekend for Everton youngsters. Other semi is this evening, could be an England/Scotland final but have to think Netherlands will be strong.
 

havent seen scotland but would have to fancy them or holland to win the final. if portugal had a striker england wouldve been walloped!

......had the feeling it was going to be one of those games for Portugal, apparently they were really fancied to win the competition so whoever England play it could be an even contest. England hung on in there, they did well.
