Definitely the next big thing, probably next season.

Very excited for the future, 2 very talented lads coming through at the same time in Ledson and JonJoe Kenny.

When you put those 2 together with Barkley, and Garbutt and maybe Browning, next season and the years to come are going to be great.

Love the fact that the captain is an Everton player, that 2 of the 4 scorers in the shoot out were Everton players, and the 2 players front and centre when the trophy was presented were Everton players.

Buy Joe Gomez please Everton.

As far as I can see there is only four clubs in the Premier League who plays some of their youngsters nowadays, and that is Everton, Liverpool, Southampton and Arsenal. That should put us up as an interesting club to join if you are someone like Joe Gomez. And as some here already pointed out, the talents are also around in the English game, but that important last step and then grow into a top player is difficult since many of the clubs in the top division have no intentions of developing players through letting them play. It`s all about keeping status quo in the league.

Mrs d' indica's a Charlton girl, she's been banging on about him, can see why, looks a player.

Cant wait for him to crunch some random eastern European bloke in the Europa League next season.

Tbf though mate 6-7 of them have got PL experience to some degree ( Garbutt with approx 8 seconds PL experience probably pushing it a bit ) but that ain't too bad a return I reckon.
