What are they going to do with them? Sack a manager and make themselves even more of a target?

I guarantee you if that board had been in place today there'd have been no chance of Lampard surviving the end of the night as manager.
So you agree with Moshiri, the fans are to blame?

When you can't beat those around you it's time to sack

Guy has packed it in. You can tell from his body language

Who would take on this bunch of nutters though - players and board

To do what exactly?
He isn't getting anything out of this lot,
At least shut up shop and make us difficult to beat, try and sneak a few wins.
We are not getting another point this season with this lot.
I was referring to Farhad. He needs more time to decide what to do.

The thing is, when we go long the ball doesn't stick and comes back at us most of the time, if we are to go for route one stuff we need a good target man and I don't think Moshiri has the desire to test the profit and loss regs, or to finance a big money signing and we would be talking 20 mill plus to get a target man good enough to play as isolated a roll as he would have to in our team. The other problem, of course, is our famous defence, we had a run earlier in the season when we rode our luck but didn't concede too many, but, we never looked a solid defence. We are now back to the point where every time our opponents get possession in our half they look like scoring.

I think Lampard is way out of his depth here, but, I think any manager would struggle to keep this lot up without considerable backing in the window.
the key to moving upfield quickly is not entirely route one. It very much depends on where we regain possession and how we force the opponent to commit passing error higher up the pitch. Any turnover will likely trigger a 4 on 4 or 3 on 3 counter and we do have the players with enough pace to counter with speed. That is the only way and the easiest way we can play now and that requires a lot of tactical discipline and coaching. I’m not sure if Lampard is capable of.

The current approach requires Gray/Gordon/McNeil/maupay to regularly get pass a solid defensive shape(2 banks of 4)before they even had a chance to shoot, they can’t, and any of the players we’re link with can’t do that either.

So you agree with Moshiri, the fans are to blame?
No.

I think there's a hierarchy of blame with the owner at the top of it. But near the base are tens of thousands of fans who were his cheerleader for years when some of us could see the abyss he was leading us to.
