Didn't one of his players take the mick out of him last week in-front of the squad so he dropped him? He'd clearly lost the dressing room.

Lampard was always only an interin Manager to get them through the Transfer ban. He's just did better than they expect.

Thomas Tuchel is currently unemployed.

Abramovich will no doubt feel it is time for a proper manager.

Too many cooks spoil a broth.
Spend £222m and sign Ziyech, Havertz, Werner, Pulisic and add them to Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Mount, Giroud and you’re going to have disappointed players.

They desperately needed a creative midfielder in the middle as Kante, Kovacic and Jorginho just don’t cut it. Relying on Thiago Silva as a centre half?
Got the best out of a good group of youth, but when the stars came, he couldn’t hack it. How did Mount keep getting in?

Mount is class. Got to view football only via stats to think otherwise.

Personally, never see him stand out during a game.

Not saying he will not be a good player, but right now, don't think he should be commanding 90-mins per week. But curiously, if you have such loyalty to Mount... why sign a load of attacking players?

But, probably where praises is needed is without Lampard, do James, Abraham, Mount, Gilmour or Tomori even get near the team? Good to see Chelsea blood English Talent for the first time since Terry.
