And the winner is.... Slav Bilic!!
Out and believe it or not Big Sam is going in there

Makes sense. Short-timer contract, club is going down as things stand, and is bringing in someone to improve their league-worst concession rate.

I feel for the guys that took Arteta at 50/1.

Bizarre really. Did an excellent job at getting them promoted, even if they did stutter.

In a league where Fulham, Burnley and Sheffield Utd are equal/worse, you can easily stay up.

They’ve shown they can stick it, by getting results against Chelsea and City and we’re beyond unlucky away at United.

In games against teams around them, they’ve done alright too.
Would be the harsher of the sackings.

Bizarre move, they're literally one win from being out the drop zone yet Wilder has made one of the worst starts in PL history at Sheffield United and seemingly isn't remotely under threat of sacking

Bloody Scott Teflon Parker. Had a fiver on the absolute bellend.

I'd argue that 8 from 12 with that dumpster fire of a roster is a halfway decent return.

If we're talking about the sack being "strictly business", Wilder probably should have been gone two games ago. Parker and OGS also are probably deserving, and the only thing keeping Arteta in his seat on the bench is that shiny trophy in the case.

I think all you've said is probably true but I still think you have to look at them as being arguably the worst defensive and attacking team in the league and say it is fair enough to try someone else.

I know they're within touching distance of Fulham, Burnley and even Brighton to an extent but two of those teams can score goals and one can defend so I wouldn't expect them to catch up without change.

I'd argue that they're not that bad going forward, they've got decent players up there, who admittedly are not all Premier League Standard (ala Sawyers) but Diangana and Perreira are good players, and I actually don't think Grant is up top, but will always struggle with a poorer side (look how he did at Huddersfield compared to what they had).

Still, is that Bilic fault? He can only work with the budget he's given Think Pereira, Diangana and Grant were a total of £24m (Grant is pay £3m a year for 5 years). Meanwhile Sheffield United have spent over £50m.

I understand your point, but for Bilic, they sold Hegazi from under his nose without permission and gave him no money. What's he supposed to do?

Out of order sacking him. They barely gave him a budget. This is the problem with clubs, they just don't give managers time. I suppose you could say Fat Sam can keep them up (Its his specialty) but it's out of order on Bilic. I think he's a decent manager.
