On NW tonight beofre and on the verge of being wound up...

Moved last year from a crumbling old stadium in the heart of their traditional fanbase to a new complex out of town, which has poor transport links.

Now they are getting less revenue per game than they did before the move. As noone is going to the matches.

On this note, would the Kirkby Project put us under?
I think this goes to show we had a lucky escape!

Get your general point mate....but cant put us on a par with them !!!!

You seem a credible sort. I'm going to take your opinions on board.

go on lad I'll bow down to you in your superior scousiness and never speak another word without your permission then, cause I'm that arsed about whether you as an individual think I'm a credible source

It obviously doesn't work like that though mate. That's like me saying I commute to Goodison from my road every week so therefore we should build a new 50,000 stadium next door to me.

No it isn't, he's commenting on how easy it is to get from kirkby to kirkdale & therefore town etc. Kirkbys easy to access from pretty much everywhere in the city.

this has been done to death, coventry were put up as a way to go by the the pro kirkby support even in the echo, look were thats ended , as for transport to and from that kirkby site its limited at best, go and do a run up there any peak time and count the number of times your stuck in traffic , through walton vale and the east lancs and factor in match traffic on top, the holding pens at kirkby station well that tells you something, hope you would have loved your hour plus waits, anyway its been proven it wasnt up to the job the goverment said so.in defence of the club its a hard one to get right ,

Clueless??? I/If Jaycee is, so are the majority of Evertonians.
2/ Look at the predicament we are in now, outdated ground,no money and the chances of investment damaged because of the ground issue.

Did you actually follow the objections to the ground move, the non exisistant transport plan,as you know so much explain how we were going to benefit

It is easy to get to and from Kirkby on a match day when there isn't a football stadium there, which is what he's saying. That doesn't mean that the same transport links would be sufficient for a 50,000 stadium. Transport would have been a nightmare for that stadium in Kirkby.

The board have come up with two suggestions for relocating, and failed on both of them. One project was befitting of Everton Football Club, the other was an absolute embarrassment that would have ruined a lot of what has made Everton great.

What type of administration relies on layman pressure groups to advise them on their business strategy? It isn't a pressure group's job to spoon feed the club into what they should or should not be doing. They would be ignored and wouldn't listen to their advice anyway, not least because they have very different agendas.

When did that happen??? Are you seriously suggesting Kenwright went to KEIOC for advice about Kirkby!!!
