In his defence, 3 or 4 times he was in space unmarked and gray and Gordon decided to shoot rather than pass. Was also brought down when the last man and through on goal, not sure he’d have scored though, given his form.

I feel no animosity towards him , just pity.
It’s clear he’s trying his best to contribute but his body is past it.
It is cruelty to keep putting him onto the pitch and should be punishable.
If he was a racehorse he’d have been rendered down to a can of pedigree chum months ago.

Playing Rondon, who's well and truly past it, is denying a youngster the chance to get some experience and actually contribute something. He should never have been brought in.

Just watched the game again and these were my thoughts too.
As you say had they found him whether he’d have scored we will never know but he was certainly finding space and taking up the right positions in the box.

I genuinely felt for him, he looked exasperated at times. Yes he is not up to it,but when he does the right thing it goes wrong elsewhere.
