Man possessed? He was blowing chunks after 20 minutes and was five minutes behind everything

The shot on the turn wasn’t even inches, it was a good yard wide of the post because he dragged it

Yes, but my point was we have to play with a striker, we are awful when it's Gray-Gordon-McNeil. We need to buy a striker that's better than Rondon

Your hero got it wrong (again) - 0-0 at home against Notts Forest take one of your 3 bloody CB's off and put Onana or McNeil in a midfield 3 with Davies and Iwobi and go for the 3 points dont take your only fit CF off and lump it up to a wide player who's main strength is crossing a ball ?

He was knackered and had next to no impact on the game

He's not even championship standard these days.

The fact we had no good option on the bench is the board's fault. The fact we signed Mcneil is down to poor recruitment.
 
One for us oldies

Imagine a prime Dave Thomas flying down the wing , looking up to see Big Bob get on the end of another peach of a cross.
Now imagine the same scenario as he bombs down the wing , looks up . then looks back to see Rondon just leaving the centre circle

They were all knackered - Gordons goosed by 60 minutes all the time but he's the managers star pupil and stays on the pitch regardless.

To finish that game with neither Rondon or Dele up top was criminal - go for the 3 points 1 point aint no good against Notts Forest at home.

Would have had no issue taking off Gordon yesterday.

Dele hasn't looked sharp at all this season. I dont think the manager wants to use him.

Which is all well and good when DCL is back or we bring another forward in - but until then him and Rondon are the only two who can hold the ball up and play anything resembling a target man / CF so utilise them instead of persisting with Gordon/McNeil up top.

Alli hasn't performed at all in his previous 2 appearances. The manager is well within his rights not to use him.

Which is fair but then the fans are within their rights to call the manager oot for not mixing it up rather than doing the same false 9 rubbish that didn't work in either of the Villa/Chelsea games.

Like I said mate he could have done anything better than McNeil up top - take Tarkowski off who was having a poor game and go to a flat back 4 with Onana ahead of Davies/Iwobi and told to press from the front and try make something happen. Even put Allan on next to Davies and made Iwobi go further forward or Gordon as a no10 with Rondon or Dele up top, Dele behind Rondon etc.

If he tries things that dont work I can accept that in the circumstances we find ourselves in - its the lack of trying/in game management thats frustrating and the poor subs.

We have no good attacking options. Anything he tries will almost certainly not work
