Back up as what? If you hadn’t already seen this season he was folded neatly into the back pocket of 2 reserve fleetwood defenders a couple of weeks ago. The only thing he will be good for is coming on for the last 10 minutes and we lump balls in the box where he can use his monumental frame to try and put defenders off, even then he will blowing out of his arse by the time the extra board is in sight.

Let’s be honest Lampard has been reluctant to play him at all and when he has the fella has been tragically and predictably useless.
I hope we don’t even see him on the bench going forward because it’s a waste of a sub.

All I am saying is Rondon is bound to feature on the bench and coming off the bench when DCL or Maupay crack up. Nobody else exists short of playing Keane up front.
