Rondón, on the other hand, is a reliable and effective backup, coming in on a short-term deal with minimal outlay necessary. He matches the archetypal Everton '9' - strong as an ox with tremendous hold-up and linking play, giving us an option off the bench that Kean so far hasn't demonstrated at all.

He won’t be a starter, but I think Benitez will use him unlike the King situation.

Ideal bench striker, will be motivated to make life hell for defenders when he comes on. Has the trust of the manager. Should be cheap and helps with FFP.
