Transfer Rumour Salomon Rondon.

You're going off last season. He's done much much better numbers than that and Gray never has. Crack on if you think Rondon is a good signing, we all have opinions.

I never said Rondon was a good signing, I just said we haven’t lost any significant contribution from the Icelandic person who can’t be named.

Press reporting it's a strain no breaks involved. You got any suggestions for a realistic candidate for backup?
Not my job and with 11 hours left no I don't mate. I don't get paid millions a year to do scouting, that is Brands job and here we are Salomon Rondon. Just no.

We're getting rid of a lad who didn't want to be here, wasn't going to get a game ahead of DCL, didn't perform (for a multitude of different reasons) at all whilst in a blue shirt, a player for whom we'll ultimately receive €35m, which can be reinvested in a reliable player who actually adds value to the team in terms of goals and assists.

Rondón, on the other hand, is a reliable and effective backup, coming in on a short-term deal with minimal outlay necessary. He matches the archetypal Everton '9' - strong as an ox with tremendous hold-up and linking play, giving us an option off the bench that Kean so far hasn't demonstrated at all.
We were sold a pup with Kean.... Terrible attitude and very average footballer.

Trouble is, who else will come and sit on the bench?

He certainly would not be a regular starter, he does look quite aggressive too, can just see him getting on the end of Townsend's deliveries

It sickens me to actually see supposed fans of the club saying [Poor language removed] like this, so much for our motto, when has Rondon ever been effective for Newcastle or West Brom ? Why is he suddenly going to be effective now at 31 years old ?

He won’t be a starter, but I think Benitez will use him unlike the King situation.

Townsend crossing to Rondon. Both in their thirties. Who says we have low expectations?
