Allardyce has got to go all out for a win against stoke and break this pathetic away form misery. We are not going to get anything out of the 2 games after it. Stoke have got the worst goal difference in the league and have had 54 goals scored against them already. If he goes there too defensive and looking for a draw then he should be sacked after the game, end of story. 3 wins out of the last 13 games is nowhere near good enough regardless of us beating Brighton.

Spoke about this on the Podcast with @Groucho last night. We need to go there with the same side (bar Siggo) and absolutely batter them. There's no reason to be over cautious, they have few options and a chronic lack of threat. With Tosun's confidence building this is a good opportunity.

Chance for Klaassen or Beningame.

Anyone except Schneiderlin essentially.

Saturday was my son's first game and therefore I have to be thankful for Allardyce that there as a win. It still does not change my mind about future.

It`ll be us and them playing hoofball for 90 mins.

The footballing equivalent of table tennis.

I can hardly wait.

( last on match of the day guaranteed )
MOTD will have us on after the closing credits if they have any sense.

It'll be the only game ever to have both sides with less than 20% possession. I'm not saying Stoke are rubbish but they aspire to have a midfield dynamo like Schneiderlin in their team and think Big Scam is a progressive coach. In fact if we win, perhaps we can leave both down there to see if they can keep them up.

Game should be absolutely set-up to hit them on the counter but we'll sit-in and be dour and cautious as usual which always just increases the likelihood of defeat.

Sam did say on Saturday he would reasess after 40 points (at least that's what I heard) which is just confirmation that we won't be going for all 3 points against Stoke. We will crawl to the line.

Yeah, I guess we will see if he was honest(hahahahaha) about being a bit more free once we were safe. You absolutely have to take it to one of the worst teams in the league with about the same lineup, aggressive and attacking.

Lose to Stoke and we are back in relegation mix tbh. We will almost certainly lose to Liverpool and City, and then we have 5 games against teams fighting the drop.

We surely can’t lose all of them, but still have that nagging feeling.
The bottom three will need to win four more games to pass us out on the points that we have now and I can't see any of them doing that. We are quite probably safe already.

Big undies talking tough as soon as he wins a game.

If he were 15 years younger he wouldn't be under such pressure for two wins in 12?

It's not about your age, your name or your nationality, Sam. You're just not a very good manager other than avoiding relegation. Everyone in football except you knows it.

Think this is more about BFS taking a swipe at younger managers being touted for the job. He's letting us know that only he, because of his age and experience can withstand the pressures of the job - how lucky we are!!
Just go now Sam and let a younger, more able manager with new ideas and a will to win take over
