Abraders
Player Valuation: £60m
He doesn't conduct himself in a manner that flatters or inspires confidence, but he clearly gets his message across to the players.I would say most of it wasn't, but he's contributed a fair bit to the general feeling of despondency among the fans. And we're still not able to defend effing setpieces, I thought that was his thing
We may not be playing with an identity we'd like, but we have played with an identity that was needed since he was appointed as we were in a dire situation.
We've been on a good run from the off, then a barren/poor run helped by the teams around us doing similar, and seems to have turned it around somewhat as we've played a lil bit of decent togger in the past couple games.
He's signed players that have clearly improved our first eleven, and shifted some of the crap Koeman tried to fill us with.
Is Sam the man to take us forward? No. But he was the answer to a situation we found ourselves in.
I wouldn't like to see him in charge next season, as I think we should use it as a platform to bring in someone like Fonseca who has potential to bring us to another level.
