I would say most of it wasn't, but he's contributed a fair bit to the general feeling of despondency among the fans. And we're still not able to defend effing setpieces, I thought that was his thing
He doesn't conduct himself in a manner that flatters or inspires confidence, but he clearly gets his message across to the players.

We may not be playing with an identity we'd like, but we have played with an identity that was needed since he was appointed as we were in a dire situation.

We've been on a good run from the off, then a barren/poor run helped by the teams around us doing similar, and seems to have turned it around somewhat as we've played a lil bit of decent togger in the past couple games.

He's signed players that have clearly improved our first eleven, and shifted some of the crap Koeman tried to fill us with.

Is Sam the man to take us forward? No. But he was the answer to a situation we found ourselves in.

I wouldn't like to see him in charge next season, as I think we should use it as a platform to bring in someone like Fonseca who has potential to bring us to another level.

Sam on Tosun,

“He is an all-rounder, with good movement. He is two-footed, perhaps not the biggest but he’s very efficient in the air and in the box he gets good space to get his head on the ball.
We looked at the qualities of the player, his talent and goalscoring, and his resilience, too. I do not think you can look any more than we have done and, for the price, he is the best in Europe at the moment.”

Whatever people believe about Sam he's been a big improvement over Koeman when it comes to buying players as both his aquisitions are proving hits.

Jesus, we win a game and he sounds like a saviour again. He is crap. Yes our players have been playing badly since start of the season. But sams tactics havnt improved our performances. We still play awfully. Struggled past a ten man stoke. Havnt improved under him at all. Koeman managed to beat an 11 man stoke. Those saying he has deserved a chance to give it a go are just mad. He hasn’t deserved any chance. New manager syndrome wore off quickly for the players m when they got fed up of having every man behind the ball and praying it didn’t go in. If you think we played well in any of the first 6 games, go back and rewatch them.

We were never getting relegated. If you think our squad was the worst in the league then you clearly don’t know much about the bottom half of the prem.

We played well considering how utterly awful we'd been all season under Koeman/unsy. Utterly atrocious

We're 11 points off where we were at this point last season and the mad thing is we can still technically achieve our same points tally as last season if we won our remaining games, unlikely of course but I find that mental after the terrible first half of the season we had etc and our injury record.

Sam is living the dream, we’ve got loads of money, but most aren’t worth a bean.

We hoof it from the back & we’re lightweight in attack. The School of Science is nowhere to be seen.

It was probably a wet dream as well. Couldn’t be worse could it? Possibly, thinking of that actually makes me physically sick. Just go & peddle your nonsense at the next unfortunate club who are that desperate to pay you a fortune to obtain your humble, flexible & popular approach; delivered in your thought provoking Key Note style.

See it as job done now, another Fat Sam V Football challenge delivered, we’ll nod quietly in acceptance & hope to never see or hear from you again.
