so? if Margaret thatcher was the manager would you defend her?

your post makes absolutely no sense mate, he is scum, he shall be treated like scum

It makes perfect sense. What does not make sense is you assuming that I am defending him. I just said why people would defend him. I did not state my opinion of him one way or the other...

And no I would not defend Thatcher because I would be fuming as 1, she is dead, and 2, she has no previous Football management experience.

Thatcher ruined lives. Allardyce plays boring football. These are not really comparable things.

I get why people don't want him, I don't really want him myself, but he has done nothing "wrong", certainly nothing to be calling him scum during his time here. He is our manager rightly or wrongly so personally I think its a good thing that people will feel the need to defend him at times.

People are also forgetting up until the Stoke game which was a given, we had one of the worst records in the league since lardiola came in. Up until the Huddersfield game he had one of if not the worst points per game records in our history
And possibly one of the most clueless disjointed group of players we've had in at least a dacade.I'm sure they are drilled defensively and given a game plan which doesn't include not being able to find a team mate with a simple pass. And yet when they cross the touchline they look as though they have hardly trained together.

Or they've been thrown together on the morning of the match. Shown a video of Swansea and told, thats how you do it lads.

Allardyce doesn't just play boring football though does he, he's a crook and a fraud

he is also on roughly £100k a week which is includes money coming from match going fans like myself who have the privilege to pay for this man to be at the club

I don't like that and have an opinion on it, you have your opinion on him that you might want to defend him because he's the current manager or whatever and my opinion is he should have never even been considered for the job because he is everything what I hate about football.

if he had come in and turned us into a good side again, I'd STILL not like him for the person he is, but he's come in and done an awful job, he hasn't worked some miracle like some fans make out ( not you ) he's done what any manager with 15 years of prem experience should at the very least do, beat teams at home who are worse than you are

And your proof of this is?

To be honest Swansea look a far better footballing side at the moment. But it seems the general hate of Allardyce is getting the players a pass,as if none of the poor performance involves them.
I agree they are better drilled and organised and seemingly have a togetherness about them.

I'm not giving players a free ride and they need to share the blame. You wont find many love ins on here in the player threads.

But some people are all out to blame the players and give the manager a free ride and thats wrong too. In fact, if Allardyce were to hold his hands up when he has made wrong calls, rather than blame everything bar the kitchen sink, he may get a bit more respect on here. He would from me anyway.
