I think it’s folly to replace him with any other manager simply for the sake of it.

If they can go out and get Simeone in the first week after the season ends great. Same for any other proven manager.

If we’re gonna have another no mark such as Marco Silva, then I’m not sure that would lead anywhere either.

I agree with most of that, other than it's a bit harsh on Silva, who barring a nightmare 8 weeks at Watford has a very good track record.

There was no midfield our players were so deep it was just a line across our area now and again Tosun broke out and was isolated by a massive gap that resembled no mans land right across the middle of the pitch
there was no tactics the lads just watched war movies prior to the fixture
we just sat there and let the best team in Europe do what they want

We will only ever regress with this guy in charge he waves the white flag from the first whistle versus top teams. Hopefully the derby is the final straw. We will only ever attain average at best with this prehistoric dinosaur in charge.

As bad as it sounds I’m actually glad we were beaten today and have never been so arsed about a derby. Had we won today and won the derby that fat mess would be in with a great shout at staying in the job for next season.

With the bigger picture in mind today and probably the derby will be collateral damage.

An Everton team with 18% possession at Goodison Park is something that should never be accepted, regardless of the opposition. What a shambles this once great club is. Big changes needed all over the show.

I just saw that. Incredible. The lowest for a home team in prem history

Not even fuming with him today as the result was fully expected. City are a class above, but his team selection and tactics certainly didn't help.

Next week is a different matter though. Palace showed today that if you get at the RS you can unsettle them. It was only poor finishing from Benteke that deprived them of at least a draw or maybe a win. They are not all that, certainly not on the same level as City, and they will likely rest players for Tuesday.

As it's our last meaningful game of the season it's the last chance saloon for the Bisto Boy. Anything less than a good performance and at least a creditable draw then he can back his bags immediately afterwards.
