m afriad we shud not repeat last seasons cycle again . get a new manager , give him a lot of funds and cry in jan why all those funds were wasted on avg players . we need to be very careful now . n patient . if Koeman failed , the next manager can also fail despite having funds available . i fear this is the only argument big sam may present to moshiri in his case . he may ask for one window of summer rebuild and then judge him ..

Absolutely.

Expect to go down, because with the fraud at the helm we will if he gets a summer transfer window

I do agree with the stick he's getting but i also have to say he's taking a lot of flak because of the wasters who cross the white lines. His tactics are abysmal, his team selections awful but for professional footballers not to be able to pass a ball to each other is not his fault, it's not his fault they can't tackle and it's not his fault they have no composure. He's done a lot wrong but it's not all on him for me.

Agreed . Give him a Defoe and you never know , it will be less boring maybe :) . I actually found his Sunderland relegation fight exciting .. with Defoe upfront .

It's hard to find a man when your boss' tactics are so rigid and involve 10 behind the ball, and a 50 yard gap between striker and midfield.

We aren't organised. We carry no threat. We don't press at all well. We can barely get our defence pushed up towards the middle third nevermind close to halfway.

It's dinosaur football that shouldn't be applauded and should be called out for the betrayal of the club's values that it is.

Then what the hell goes on in training all week then? a bloody gravy drinking competition or something!

Who's applauding it, apart from @Kev The Rat I don't think one poster is but that's no excuse for the players treating the ball like a hot rock and being genuinely scared to have possession. they don't trust each other to give the ball to feet in tight spaces and not one of them wants to take responsibility for it, sorry but once on the field the players must shoulder some responsibility for their own ineptitude.

I don’t think a “total rebuild” is the way to go - too much ch change at once is a recipe for disaster. What is needed is a coach who can maximize the current squad and improve it incrementally with good, well scouted signings. Three or four top players in the summer would be better than a mass of signings

If anyone was still on the fence about whether we should sack BFS, this match should have beeen the tipping point. Startling Rooney alongside Morags in a match like this was criminal, and I'd have preferred Niasse on in stream of DCL. We played anti football for 82 mins. Dire

With all due respect mate , we were in relegation fight when we were trying to play attacking football under a certain stylish manager with an attacking philosophy . so although without a doubt what big sam is doing is boring , our board need to realistic while choosing his successor . and it should not simply be another attacking philosophy manager from foreign league

So you are of the opinion footballers earning upto £150k a week are told not to be able to control a ball or panic at the first sign of an opposition player running at them?? That's a strange concept that you feel the manager is responsible for the basics once the match starts.

I was happy when we went for Sam and I was proved right in that he would definitely keep us in the Premier League.

Moving forward, we need better. People will hate it but I’d love Sean Dyche here.

Or take a punt on a foreign manager like Carlos Carvahal.

Anyone suggesting the likes of Tuchel and Simeone - don’t make me laugh. We’re not that club.
