Sad he's admitting that the games before they couldn't be bothered and in fact lost him his chance of the job... If Rooney is being honest that is.

The whole season has been a joke let's be honest. I think its been blatantly clear for quite a while that there are issues within the squad, from old school players who have probably outstayed their welcome, to new players on massive bumper contracts who haven't done anything to earn them.

Managers bounce doesn't always happen though, Pardew and Hughes are good examples.

The fact of the matter is that he doesn't represent this football club in attitude or demeanour and the sooner he is punted the better for all concerned. He hasn't shown me one ounce of class that is the bare minimum I'd expect from an Everton manager. From his very first interview where I've seen a steaming pile of crap look more lively, through to him trying throw everyone associated with Everton except himself under a bus, the man is simply not good enough for our club.

He never was, never has been, never will be good enough for our club.

Also, if you look at the bounce Allardyce normally gets (honestly no pun intended there before @Davids gets the PC police on me) it always takes a run of around 5/6 games before he gets the teams playing the way he wants. Look at Sunderland and Palace as prime examples. Think Kone was the lucky recipient of a hat trick in one of those games.
