Mate it's boring football back to the Walter Smith days only we have blown cash!

This isn't a bad shout at all. Walter Smith was the managing equivalent of a slow puncture. He might just make it to the destination, but it would be nerve wracking, and you'd still need to repair the thing - better to do it straight away. I have the same feeling about Scam. We'll limp to some small target and then give up. Eventually everyone will give up. Most it seems have given up now. He has to go. There is no joy anymore.

Having said all this, I thought that yesterday's match was what I expected and wanted from a Big Scam game when he first came. Which wasn't much - a bit of organisation, stay competitive and for the players to put in the leg work at the very least and try and nick something - and he has delivered this poor fare far too infrequently. This should have been the type of performance after a half dozen games under him showing that he was at least trying to produce a platform for the team to get themselves some confidence and start improving. He has failed miserably in his task if it was an audition for a long term stint in charge.

Sure we will not be relegated, but what kind of brief is that for an Everton manager? He has not challenged the European places in anyway despite us being 8th. The return of Coleman and Baines had a far more transformative impact on us. Yes we were very poor before him, but Unsworth had started to stop the rot before he came in. Big Scam has done nothing but the bare minimum for me in terms of points on the board. He has underperformed in producing a team that plays football that is neither competitive nor apparently capable of progressing to anywhere near a winning style. He has vastly underperformed in managing the relationship with the fans and members of staff at the club and bought us into disrepute.

Gotta go. Pull the trigger on him now. I do not want him associated with Everton anymore.

He’s not going anywhere mate.

With the three fixtures we have left, we could easily have a very strong end to the season. We’re already up to eighth somehow, and if we finish strong with say three wins and a draw that would be a big concern for me.

Shouldn’t have to be saying that! We should be wanting to win every game we play, but I want him gone so badly it’s got to the point I want us to flop in these last three games.

I fear that may be correct. He has done what he was brought in to do, steadied a rocky ship and comfortably got us safe and in the top half. When he took over if we heard he would have that we'd probably have said ok he deserves another season but the fact is the football makes Moyes sides look like the Kendall title winning one in comparison and it really is the most dire boring stuff since Wally Smith. I pray he goes but the fact he can point to a lopsided squad and his signings doing well will probably get him another year.

He’s leaving I have no doubt now, in his radio Merseyside interview we started going on about 3w 2D and 1L in the last 6 and if we beaten Liverpool it would of been great and a draw with City would be amazing....sounded like a fan with the Should/Could/IF... then they asked about his future and there was a long pause, think he knows he going

Net spend is close to 150m over the last 3 seasons. On top of that 6m to get rid of allardyce, it was 5m to get koeman, around 8m to koeman until 2019. 11m to pay off martinez, maybe another few million compensation to bring in a new manager.

That's 30m on managers compensation in 2 years ffs.
On top of that new manager will want his own style especially if he is foreign which means another 100m on transfers.

We are rich, don't worry about it.

You say 'with 3 games left if we finish strong with 3 wins and a draw'
Aries, you should be our next manager if you can get more points on the board than is statistically possible, I'm voting for you!
