Easier to sling personal insults from behind a safe computer screen. Nobody was ever going to start calling for his head at Goodison.Hang on, you were there were you not? You could have started a chant of "Allardyce out". You would have looked a fool, but only because there was no anti Allardyce noises at all from our fans. Also don't tell me that the absence of a few season ticket holders had any impact on anything. The vast majority were there alright as we always are, including you. What bothers me among many things regarding Allardyce, is his repeated claim of great support at the home games, including last night. Subdued would be more accurate though it didn't stop me giving shoit to certain players for consistent crap passing.
State of Rolf Harris there
I was there and it was more than just a few absent season ticket holders plus quite a lot of empty seats. Atmosphere was dead.Hang on, you were there were you not? Agree with that mate...Id say 12 people directly around us all long time season ticket holders out of them 6/7 I havent seen in ages just different faces every match...If he is here next year we will be doing the same...Totally agree with this. Apart from the two blokes either side of me, there has been a stream of different people )for the last few matches in the few rows in front and behind where I sit - no doubt buying their tickets on stub hub (many of them from abroad, with no particular allegiance to Everton. Think quite a few season ticket holders have just given up and also think it's why there haven't been the chants of "Allardyce out" we were hoping for.

I could have started a chant, but I can honestly say that the match was so dire, apart from cheering the goal and Pickford's wind up of the Newcastle fans, I sat totally apathetic to the whole thing.
In fact I have grown more disillusioned with every match - and going is becoming a chore, which I never thought I would say having supported Everton for over 50 years.
I have renewed my season ticket for next year, but if Sam gets the nod, another ticket will be appearing on stubhub cos I can't take another year of this dreadful rubbish.
How do you get the voucher - didn't know about thatI suggest many of the empty seats were primarily because of the change of fixture to a Monday night. Hence the pathetic gesture of a £5 voucher to all ST holders. A party of 16 Irish, two of whom are usually near me, got their air fares refunded by Everton because of the change. None were able to attend, and so on. I know TV rules the roost, but Monday football is terrible. German fans are rebelling against it. Televised Monday games in the PL show swathes of empty seats. The clubs don't care that much. The seats were probably sold before the fixture changes, and the TV money rolls in anyway. My spare seat went to my wife cos none of my kids could travel on the Monday.
