I can't blame people who want to go and put up with it. For some it's a way of life, a habit, a religion even. I remember coming home on a Saturday in the 90's, sulking, having a tantrum, kicking the cat if we had one, after watching yet another pile of dung. And me arl fella would say "why do you do it, you've got to start voting with your feet, it's the only way they'll get the message". But I couldn't stop going. Doesn't mean I was happy to go, far from it. I was numb to it all and the apathy had set in. Pretty much like it is these days, hence why it's so quiet.
Now? I can take it or leave it. I've got more important things to worry about these days. If the board can't see what's going on, and how crap it really is, there's no hope.

With the looks on moshiris and kenwrights faces on Monday, I think they recognise it. It’s obvious people aren’t happy with it just by how quiet it is. And yeah, the argument is there that they won’t care as long as they still get the money in, but these are two people who genuinely love football. They know people will eventually stop coming, and they can’t risk that as they will need to fill a bigger stadium.

I’m not saying he was the right man for the job, don’t get me wrong, but we weren’t in the dire straights that a lot of people on here and Big Sam have tried to say we were.

You are right about the Brighton game, I was about as cool and calm in that game as I have been in pretty much every match since the West Ham game.
I think you are wrong. We were in a shocking state and the longer it goes on the harder it can be to turn things around.
Should Sam be here next season is a very different question but at the time we were in serious trouble of things falling apart.

When a club or player gets into a rut good or bad it is difficult to change things around. I look at Leicester the year they won the premiership. I look at Salah this season.. how many goals will he get next season ?
I think we were a club ill prepared for a relegation fight.

I know what you're saying mate, but I want someone who loves football but is completely ruthless.

100% I mean he’s done his job but that’s it he’s a glass ceiling manager he will keep you up but that’s it. We should be aiming now long term

It is not even a glass ceiling with Sam.

That suggests you can see the clear blue skies above your head but something invisible or transparent is stopping you from getting there.

With Sam the ceiling is so opaque it is made of lead.

You know sommat is happening above you but you can see no way of getting there.

And this is crushing the life out of our club right now.

He cannot be allowed to remain

I wonder how Moshiri views this ?

A. He has the team playing the most boring football imaginable , the fans hate him and we can never progress as a club with a manager like him.

B. He came to the club when we were in dire straits and we will probably finish just one place below where we finished the previous year. He will give us stability and a base for us to appoint a new manager in May 2019... and he won't cost us to get rid of him.

Moshiris decision can be influenced by the fans, if you turn up every week and fill the ground he wont give a toss, but if there's an empty stadium in protest then he will have to think about his decision. The 'boss blues' and the 'happy clappers' who will go regardless cant moan if they're not going to do anything about it. I believe 100% he's gone, if you don't believe it or don't wont him then you have 1 home game remaining to make it loud and clear of your thoughts..
I have been hearing this for weeks and yet Goodison is largely full for every game.

So do I. But we have a man who is known to not be ruthless and just be friends with the manager (kenwrigt) and another who has been part of seeing Wenger take Arsenal from the top and being invincible, to where they are now over the last 10 years.

But they will know the fans thoughts regardless of how many people are going to the match and it’s just about whether the risk of people starting to not turn up outweighs that of keeping sam longer.
