I doubt decisions have already been made for next season, when there are still a number of unanswered questions.

Brands is he coming? and then what happens to Walsh. Abd does moshiri trust Walsh after last summer.
A new manger would surely have different targets to sam. Sam Said in his presser a few weeks back things were going on behind the scenes for next season. And it sounded like at that time he wasn’t involved.

Also you mention not going for Fonseca, even though his name keeps coming up from well respected journalist’s and a guy on twitter who by all accounts is well connected. Abd I think he broke the story about all not being well at Finch Farm. Has said Fonseca is at the top of the list.

So who would you like as manager? that’s not a so called risk.
End of the season new DOF plus a new manager!

They’re both different ends of the trash spectrum. One a deluded fool, the other an arrogant fossil.

I don't like to see Martinez described as a deluded fool. Maybe deluded but surely no fool. He tried to work through his project of somehow producing a system like Barcelona's by keeping the ball preventing the opponent from getting in the game etc. He did not have the quality players like Gaurdiola does at City now. They play a brilliant quick passing game with long spells of possession. Roberto failed and he visibly sagged at the end when his second rate players failed to deliver what he wanted. The other night he said if we had sneaked a cup trophy that might have kick started a push to the next level and getting better players, but it did not happen. Pity he failed but surely not a fool.

He didn’t practise set pieces, and believed that Cleverley and Kone were better wide options than Mirallas and Lennon. He fed the fanbase what they wanted to hear but wouldn’t have backed it up if you’d given him another 5 years and millions. The players didn’t respect him because they knew he was all hot air.

Disagree, he clearly knows his approach is not suitable with the players he had, so why persist to keep playing that way?

Deluded in his persisted failure to revert alternate game plan to better suit the team like what he did in his transition first season.

I think his approach suits international football tbh, especially since that is more short term. His lack of defensive focus made things very difficult for us most of the time, and the only reason in his first season it worked was we still had Distin playing quite well, when he left it was alarming how much we seemed to miss him. Then you get Allardyce who is the total opposite and is all about defending and at times looks like he could'nt care less about attacking and scoring goals aslong as he gets his clean sheet, we need to find something in the middle of the two.

It would not surprise me if that is the case.
Moshiri quite possibly sees Sam as having been a solid appointment, after the disasters that went before.
If Brands does come to the club then in time I think he will be allowed to make the big decisions.
I think Sam will not be here longer than June 2019, assuming we don't appoint Emery or Blanc or LVG in the meantime.

I think there is a possibility as well we could see a young coach, a Rooney or an Arteta, a young coach rated by Brands come and work with Sam for a season and take over when Sam moves on
Kin Greg Wallace moment!!!!!!

His system was similar to Barcelona’s in terms of keeping possession but that’s where it ended. Barcelona were organized at the back and pressed off the ball relentlessly. Something Martinez didn’t get us working on. When we didn’t have the ball we were completely static and easy to cut through.

Martinez was a disgrace and I have to say I celebrated when he was sacked.
The first season was good I have to admit no question, but after that the terrible Barcelona-football took its entrance. I would rather have Allardyce than Martinez I have to say. Maybe thats because I am an defender playing :)

He acclaimed Cleverley, Kone etc was fantastic players? Jesus Christ...

Erm, Allardyce came in when we had 15 points. That means he's won 30, so how is another 3 points going to see him 'with a higher points total'?

That’s why I said ‘sees US finish with a higher total’. An absolutely catastrophic season of Koeman Unsworth and Allardyce could produce more points than both of the final 2 seasons of Sin Miedo’s reign.

Right i am expecting sam to say if asked tomorrow about has he been backed to answer yes, even if Everton have told him nothing, just because of the way he is,and the way Everton say nothing to us

I really would take anything he says with a pinch of salt mate, as he`s a master at wummery.

It`s what the club says that matters.

If he`s staying it`ll come from them, rather than him.

If they let him announce it, it`ll be akin to him sticking two fingers up at the fans.
