What a twelve months, qualified for Europe, playing some decent football at times last season, Money to spend , tipped for challenging the top 4 ,early transfers then Armageddon, only Everton that.
It was like playing football manager. All exiting trying to sign players then by the time you get to the start of the season and actually playing matches, you can't be arsed anymore

The worst thing was that during pre season and the first 3 weeks of the season most new it had gone t*ts up and It's gone down hill since

Last night the paper said he didn't get his backing and today Sam kinda said he was staying, but not very convinced, i think he gone, just wish we would confirm it and then we can all be happy again

Koeman finished higher he did not last long the season after, it's just a matter of time - my feeling is Mosh will get an available competent manager in before next season!
I think he'll get a DoF in and let him make the choice. Why buy a dog and bark yourself? However, that decision will happen into next season and not at the end of this one or in the summer. That's shambolic governance.

Refuse to believe he'll still be here next season, and his body language, tone, and arsey response all indicate to me that he's going. It would be madness to let this continue, and I don't believe Moshiri is a madman. It was the least convincing 'I'm staying' I've ever heard, and as others have said, he'd of been screaming it from the rooftops had he received Moshiri's assurances.

It'll be after the last game of the season, not a moment before.

A reminder to all. What a joke to even be having this discussion. Moshiri is done.

Everton director Alexander Ryanzantsev insists it was vital the club appointed a manager of “stature”.

The Blues confirmed Ronald Koeman as their new boss last week and Ryazantsev - who also goes by the first name of Sasha - said the club needed to make a declaration of intent.

Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho have joined the Manchester clubs this summer and the club director knew Everton had to make people sit up and take notice with their own managerial change.

“There is such a big concentration (of big clubs) in the north west that we could not have fallen behind,” Ryazantsev said.

Everton continue with life-changing charity work for children from Chernobyl
“It was very important to appoint someone of that stature at the club.’

That's ok, the man has earned the right to next season.
Depends on how you see Everton. If you've believed Moshiri since he came in then this is unacceptable - a walking away from stated objectives; if you look at Everton as essentially the same club as before Moshiri arrived then this is acceptable - comfortable top half is as good as we can get and the shocking football is right in line with what Moyes produced most of the time.

Personally, I expected no better off Moshiri than I did off Kenwright. It's no surprise to me that we are going to stretch Allardyce's tenure to another season.

RK did a very good job last season, we finished 7th miles ahead of 8th and we where all excited going forward.

This seasons been so long it feels like 2 seasons

Have just re-listened to the appropriate part of the PC again and noted it down. At no time does Allardyce ever say that Farhad has told him he will be here next season and even when Allardyce was asked again and he got a bit shirty, he still did not confirm it. Here is exactly what was said.

Allardyce - We discussed the plans for next season with Farhad. We have got some clarity moving forward now.

Allardyce then speaks about the plans i.e pre season etc....

Then...

Journo said - So you are all on board together and looking forward to next season then?
Allardyce said - Didn't i just say that?
Journo said - Just for the sake of clarification
Allardyce said - Clarifaction yes

All Allardyce said including when he was asked about it again was that yes they had clarity.

At no point did he ever say that Moshiri said he will be here next season. They have clarity about it, that is all.

After the sulk on he had over the surveys and the stick he has been getting at recent away games and criticism, if Moshiri had told him he was staying on next season, he would have made sure ten fold that everyone knew about it. He would have been insufferable.

There no evidence we are extending his stay
