The deafening silence from the club gives me hope that this dinosaur of a manager won't be here next season, they could've easily said he's here next season they haven't so I live in hope.
I think the issue is can we get who we want before acting. If we can’t then Sam stays.

I think silva is a non runner because we would have no problems in getting him so there’d be no need for this cat and mouse game with Allardyce.

I suppose we may have our sights on Fonseca or even Emery

Normally the owners of a Club would come out and announce that the Manager has their full support and backing. That way you knew his time was up. Those were the days.

I wonder who Big Sam will bring in next Season, and who he will sell off? When he has his own players in place, I'm sure we'll all see a better brand of football being played by the boys in blue.

Season ticket sales are more about people believe he gone and not losing their seat, rather then backing towards the manager

Id say its hard to generalise mate, there would definitely be a mix, in the white heat of the Bill fury, he would still get a round of applause from many if not the majority of fans in Goodison. Many separate the club from individuals, to be fair i know everyone feels this is a crisis, but many fans will remember far bigger finger nail slipping experiences then anything gone through this season so wont panic in my opinion.

Last night a trusted journalist says he's not recieved the backing he wants and is on the brink.

Today he says he "has clarity now" and follows it up with the same vague guff he's been saying for weeks like "we will buy and sell players in the summer" and "we will go on pre-season."

Bye Sam. :bye:

The only thing I was looking to avoid today was him saying he's had assurances and he's going to be here next season. That never came and it would have if it were true.

Not long left now.

On Silva, could it be a bit of a delay over legal issues that he can't take another job for so long, aren't Middlesbrough going after the Birmingham manager and back room staff in court?

All the media are now all saying he’s staying now. Time for the club to shoot this down.
i've just heard that they are going to announce he leaving, after they decided on the colour of next seasons lawmowers, might take some time

Farhad prefers Green to match the pitch but Bill wants the Royal Blue one
