Behave be fair??? That Huddersfield side was atrocious! In fact the whole standard outside the top six is the worst ever...Any fukka could manage this team and get results...he just scrapes a win when we should be wellying them outta sight...

Well Rotund Ronald couldn't.

There's no way he's going, no matter how much I wish he was.

He's winning games. Moshiri isn't going to sack a manager that's won the last 3/4 games of the season.

You can see by the comments he's winning some fans over.

No one has any balls to protest emphatically enough.

His press conference was him telling everyone he's spoken to Moshiri about his plans for next season.

He's going nowhere
And neither will we if that’s the case.
For me personally if we choose to go into next season with him I will accept that this board has little aspiration other than to be a glorified building developer. I am far more concerned about what happens on the pitch than an architects doodles.
In fact if we retain him I would become convinced that this boards ineptitude would cast doubts on them raising or more seriously, being able to repay the massive loan they will need.

Agreed.

But I am leaning toward the idea that he has a plan to change it up. The fact that Brands has come in and the rumours about getting that rat Riola in to sort out dodgy transfers indicates a bit more class is looking to be brought in.

Personally, I just want someone to restart from the ground up.
What's your position now: are you looking to retain SA or happy to say "job done, but now we move on"?

Fans are the death of a club. BFS is brought in because clubs are failing. He steadies the ship with the same players that were FAILING & bringing in some he picks up on the cheap and fans expect the team to play like Barcelona on a good day. You all need your heads examining. BFS IF GIVEN TIME AND MONEY will bring in better players so the team can play the "better football". Every team he left (nearly always because of deluded fan power) crashed afterwards because the players under him were in fact OVER PERFORMING and if you think thats bull then I suggest you look at the history.

Interesting point of view. Thank you!

Genuinely disappointed in some of our fans.
Look, none of us really want Sam Allardyce managing our club. There's no dressing that up. And you could argue as well that other managers could have turned out situation around.

But he was given a specific job to do and he's done that job. No, it's not been pretty. But when we've tried to play expansive, "front foot" football (as Unsworth described it) we've been absolutely webbed by crap teams.

Booing managers should be reserved for when they're doing a terrible job and endangering the club. Allardyce has stabilised us, made two very good signings, and got us into the top half. That's not a sackable or booable offence.

I hope he's gone next season. I do. But he's a million miles from being someone we should be angry at.
The football we were playing at the start of the season was horrendous too, remember.

Can we all just finish this situation off in a dignified manner? A simple, "thanks for trying Sam, you're not for us for the long term, but cheers" would be fine.
Fans don't want him here next season. I have never known a time when so many fans have been united against a manager and in turn have become so disengaged from our club. The club have shown absolutely no public sign whatsoever that they are aware of how we feel and there are only so many ways that fans can change this. Booing is the most obvious.

It isn't particularly dignified, but if it's what we have to do to show the board that we don't want this manager next season then so be it.

And I really can't give a toss what other journalists, or sports commentators, or anybody unconnected with Everton football club thinks. Let Allardyce go and manage their club and see what they think then.

With a team that any manager should be getting those type of results with. We've not beat a single team that was above us in the table all season.

Allardyce has done what he was brought in for, to steady the ship and get certain players to re-find their form but that's as far he can do for us. We'll never push on for the top 6 with a manager like him.

You think we have a good team, really, pound for pound it’s probably the worst in our history.

Poor old Sam is a bit snookered mate he is mullered for getting results, mulled for loosing. Do you think you might be a bit polarized. lol

Every team he managed went into freefall after he left because he left them all with old experienced heads suited to his uber pragmatic gameplan, who then fall off a cliff within 2 years. The club's are broke from signing these pensioners on huge wedges and then he gets out just before the inevitable happens to protect his claim to the never gone down cup.
Thats simply not true and I suggest you get up to speed on the facts. The Clubs get him in to stop the rot, give him hardly any money so he has to go for "end of the line " players. He doesnt sign them on long contracts or huge "wedges". If the bollox you are talking wasnt bollox then how come that under Allardyce these teams make steady progression? With the few resources he gets from the failing clubs he goes to he performs miracles. "We want results and sustainable football" Lol! well you are getting results from a failed team and its sustainable. Now if you are talking about style of play thats down to bringing in players with the quality to play it and maintain success.

Well said that man.

Again though: it's all comments about style. That is NOT the real debate to be having if you want Allardyce out. It has to be to point out how many wins and points we have and how that fails to measure up to the Moshiri ambition of breaking into the elite places in the PL.

Big Sam is laughing his bollocks off with this 'style critique'.

Why would you bring Brands in and keep Sam as the manager? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Unless you know nothing about football and throwing crap in the air and hope the cards land in your favour.

He said that in his last point.

What is our ambition over the next number of years?

Where does Sam Allardyce fit into that?

Those were the questions he asked. And bang on the money he was imo.

If we do get Brands, I expect that will be an easy and popular early "kill" for him next season to sack Allardyce.

Ok.

I'd drop the attack on SA altogether, tbh.

The questions should be addressed to Moshiri to ask him is Allardyce and 40 odd points what he's allowed £300M worth of spending for and if he really IS ambitious enough to get someone in who can get us near or into the elite.

Fans can’t really be the death of a club since fans are the club. Take away directors , chairman ,players and grounds and the fans will reconstitute it anew.
Take away the fans and you’re left with 22 millionaires kicking a bag of air around a patch of grass.

Bolton heading to league 1.
Blackburn were league 1.
Newcastle went down.
Palace are in relegation scraps every year. And he spent absolute fortunes on dross there like Schluup.
West Ham he played horrendous percentage football built round Nolan and Carroll.

Percentage football is not sustainable. This fella is more pragmatic than Moyes on a bad day. He gets you mid table. If that's the height of our aims then he'll do a job. But his ceiling is lower than a top bunk in a caravan. A couple of wins against dross and we bang our heads. This is as good as it gets.
