Fans are the death of a club. BFS is brought in because clubs are failing. He steadies the ship with the same players that were FAILING & bringing in some he picks up on the cheap and fans expect the team to play like Barcelona on a good day. You all need your heads examining. BFS IF GIVEN TIME AND MONEY will bring in better players so the team can play the "better football". Every team he left (nearly always because of deluded fan power) crashed afterwards because the players under him were in fact OVER PERFORMING and if you think thats bull then I suggest you look at the history.

Every team he managed went into freefall after he left because he left them all with old experienced heads suited to his uber pragmatic gameplan, who then fall off a cliff within 2 years. The club's are broke from signing these pensioners on huge wedges and then he gets out just before the inevitable happens to protect his claim to the never gone down cup.

I think he’s done fine tbh. Finishing as high as possible really.

That doesn’t mean I think he’s the man for next season though.

Read that back to yourself, then ask yourself, if it was your money at risk, would you keep him? And when I say money, that extends to the stadium move and all that entails.

There's no way he's going, no matter how much I wish he was.

He's winning games. Moshiri isn't going to sack a manager that's won the last 3/4 games of the season.

You can see by the comments he's winning some fans over.

No one has any balls to protest emphatically enough.

His press conference was him telling everyone he's spoken to Moshiri about his plans for next season.

He's going nowhere

Yes and that's all well and good. But every other stakeholder of the club supports Everton FOOTBALL Club and not Everton Property Development SPV Ltd.

We want results and sustainable football. The stadium is secondary to success and surely he recognises the need for having a team to match a stadium?

I don't rate the new stadium as secondary. For me it is priority #1 for the club for now and the next few decades.

I am sure he does as well Tim. Just saying that the poster delivered a post that an owner on the cusp of a stadium move would quite likely agree with.

I have said it many times. Sam has delivered exactly what he was hired for. If he is retained, on the proviso that the ambition is ever so slightly adjusted, ergo, a pot, top 6, better style, and he agrees to that, then I can see Moshiri keeping him.

That said, this Brands bloke coming in muddies the theory somewhat.

Could not disagree more, the stadium is key to sustained success!

Behave be fair??? That Huddersfield side was atrocious! In fact the whole standard outside the top six is the worst ever...Any fukka could manage this team and get results...he just scrapes a win when we should be wellying them outta sight...

Ha ha that’s a no from you then mate.

He is getting results though, atrocious of course, but he’s getting a tune out of someone else’s poorly constructed team.

I’m not advocating one way or the other, just being objective, he’s doing his job well at the moment.
