He has not. Essentially he's spent proceeds from player sales plus a bit of tv money. We've had a radical change.
We have a billionaire owner who's radically given us over £200m to spend.
The fact we've spunked it on a load of crap is what the problem is.
Well we beat both Watford and West Ham in November, and drew away with Crystal Palace, so a lot of people were wrong weren't they.No insinuation at all, i just wanted to know what you would do because we can't just keep sacking and paying off managers.
btw in November i didn't think we were good enough to beat any team in the league and a lot of people on here thought the same way.
lolSam was ready to take the step up from "relegation saver" to international class manager. The country was behind him and for reasons we all know he was denied this opportunity after just one game with England.
It was a blessing really because he'll do a double whammy. He stopped us getting relegated ("no he didn't" "yes he did" etc) and I think next season with some backing we're going to see how good a manager he can be with a PROPER club

Also why raise the question about Fonseca. You could have named any manager. We can't not replace Allardyce for fear of being in a relegation battle. It might have been unintentional, but by raising the question in the first place that's what you're insinuating.
All he has to do is come in here mate. 100 different posters could do 100 different list and there would be very little difference between them. What worries me is that we have an absolutely ridiculously large squad. If a new manager comes in, how would he assess who should stay and who should go?
Sam at least would have an idea based on what he has seen.
Not advocating he stays btw, but the size of the overhaul required is an issue.
He had the chance to do it this season mate. Perfect start, saying all the right things, a lot of the dissenters had been silenced. Ideal opportunity to kick on. He didn't.Yes a lot of people were wrong just like a lot of people could be wrong about BS improving us next season,
i just named Fonseca as he seems to be the guy most want, Wenger for me tho.
As far as I can tell Lookman looked for a loan because he knew he wasn’t going to get game timeAll it tells me is Lookman asked for a loan (and is hardly pulling up any trees at Liepzig) and Vlasic aint that good at this point.
Are Davies, Baningime and Calvert-Lewin not classed as youth any more?
As said earlier Joey the big boys would prefer to walk into Chelsea,Man U,City,Arsenal teams with a decent squad and stadium so they have a chance of silverware from the off. There is a reason we have never attracted a manager who has been at a top club. Not if the budgets there and an attractive salary!
Vlasic got some game time, but hardly impressive was he? As usual our players are better when they don't start. As far as I can tell Lookman looked for a loan because he knew he wasn’t going to get game time
Vlasic needs game time.
He hasn’t been starting Davies or DCL
I think Moshiri may have had his fingers burnt and is now looking for solidity, consistency and PL survival while we work out the stadium details. He has paid out for 3 ex-managers (+staff), we have spent a fortune on mainly disappointing signings, have average players on huge salaries that will not go elsewhere so will be difficult to get shut of, short of giving them away e,g, Sandro. Was listening to TalkShite and Danny Murphy, that cockney Orient fan, Jim White and whoever else were saying what a good job he has done, worth sticking with to see how his footie develops with money to spend etc. Its like they have never watched the crap he has produced over the years or more likely its the bigging up of British/English managers when we know they are mostly [Poor language removed]. Glad to get out the car as the next guest up was Hodgson ! Hes another media darling who has done f all in his "long and illustrious" career.
I'd say Martinez and Koeman both turned in more good performances than BFS has.
I'd also say that his chance of making any further progress is minimal.
