Since Sam came in there has been. The guy in question posted about tosun and Walcott well before anyone else. Think he also posted bout Joe royle leaving his role too. He doesn't know everything but he knows some stuff.

He hasn't actually said Allardyce is staying. Just given little riddles that hint he thinks he might be. Hedging his bets.

Thing is someone might of been a bang on ITK 6 or 7 years ago but with all the changes that have gone over the last 3 or 4 years at Goodison his souce might not be ITK anymore, dont forgot every ITK is only getting his info from a ITK that is closer to the inner circle then he is.

Not one ITK called Moshiri was coming, for me that was the game changer, since then nobody knows anything, even if they think they do and have good intentions.
This ^
The days when certain itk's used get snippets from Bills brother have long gone.
Even all the journo's previously briefed like Paul Joyce are out of the circle since Moshiri came in. Any decisions now are closely kept until the time is right. No more "watch this space" Mouthino moments or "Witsel is ours"
So we just have to sit and wait (even as its so much painful)
Think Moshiri has had a very harsh lesson over the past 2 years and taking it he is a very clever man he has learnt to do all club business out of the media until its done.

It's nice to see (so far) that Moshiri has some common-sense and won't be sacking Allardyce, to replace him with crazy suggestions or a manager never in the Premier League before.

The majority of our fanbase seem to be over the top and slightly bizzare. A lot of the polls saying we prefer Silva as our manager??? A manager who has been relegated, and then got sacked because he couldn't control his players? Sounds just like the man we need to get us into the Championship...

Would prefer Big Sam be given another year. But if not, give somebody a chance like Dyche/Howe who have proven themselves in the Premier.

Don't care about attractive football.
I envy the position you have taken on this . You have clearly accepted we are a second rate club with no prospect of it ever getting any better.
It would my make match day experience much better if I could abandon every hope of better times, and just enjoy the fact that merely by dint of surviving in the PL I get to enjoy the visits of 6 top class footballing teams to Goodison , I mean what more do I want than to see Man. C. finish the game in 12 mins ,with actual football, it's an honour really and well worth the value of a season ticket. Also get to see it repeated a few times away as well depending on how many I can get to.
Unfortunately I still harbour dreams of us actually becoming a successful football club again and as much as I try I can't imagine it happening under this unpleasant 63 year old and his dour, limited football.
Still there's always the beer, I suppose.

We could always get Martinez back if that's what you want? We will probably end up in the championship but at least you will be entertained

I think it's shouts like these that @Sentinel was talking about.

Wow.

Clap clap clap.

Where did I mention Martinez lad ? For that matter where did I use the word 'entertained' ? although it's worth mentioning the idea of watching a game of football is to be vaguely 'entertained' isn't it?
I started watching Everton in the 60s and to witness our decline in stature and ambition during the intervening years has been heartbreaking. But I still hope to see us return to the top one day and I do not believe we will begin that journey under a man who plays such reductive football as Allardyce does. Winning games by scoring your one and only shot on goal may be efficient but, my god , it's tedious. It is also unlikely to prove successful. Yet this is the modus operandi of our incumbent manager. Look at his lengthy record , you will see he overwhelmingly produces draws, followed by losses with his win column containing the least amount. This is not coincidental it is the direct product of playing a style of football which isolates the striker and habitually packs 10 men behind the ball in the final third surrendering the middle of the park to the opposition, among other failings. It is the football equivalent of hiding behind a rock and hoping to escape, it's cowardly football.
You know what?, I didn't use the word entertained but in retrospect why shouldn't I ? When I and thousands like me scrape together money we can barely afford on STs and travelling across the country in all weathers to watch our team ,why is it so wrong to expect some entertainment? What's the point otherwise? ,because the irony is the most successful teams play some form of entertaining football, including every successful Everton side I have supported.
In addition to all that I find the public persona of Allardyce himself ugly , self absorbed and generally repulsive. He has throughout his career given the impression that supporters serve football when in fact football serves supporters. It is the presence of the fans that give football its value not vice versa.
I do not expect us to become Barca or Real overnight , next season or indeed ever but I'd like us to at least give the impression that it is the journey on which we are embarked, under Allardyce we are just doomed to walk in mid table circles whilst all the while our once glorious history recedes further into the distance and becomes less relevant.
In the end I am just asking for hope and this man gives me none whatsoever.
But there is always the beer.

He more or less has over the last few weeks though.
I said that he hears stuff from the club. Which he does . But he hopefully is wrong here
That’s not in doubt, I’ve already said he knows someone at finch farm which means he does get information regarding ins and outs on the player and coaching front but as already said that source from ff will have no idea about what moshiri’s, ryazantsev’s plans are

Wouldn't bother mate some of our fans are spoilt. They would rather Southamptons new chinese owners who sold Van Dijk for £75 million and only spent £20 million. Or Mike Ashley whos reigned in the spending or West Brom or Stokes owners who have left them to go down.

You can slate Moshiri for a few things but player investment isnt one of them.

All too true
