Probably more to do with the fixture list... We lost the only game against a team above us... but sure lets all go nuts for fat sam because he manages to beat crap teams with Everton....

We don't deserve to win anything.

I'm not a Sam supporter and haven't enjoyed the football one bit, utter dross most of the time. However the job he's done in getting 33 points from 22 games has been excellent and he did do the job which we initially hired him for.

His results against those above us have generally been very poor and we've never looked like competing at all although I'm not sure what you're referring to in 'we lost the only game against a team above us'.

Certainly we've played Chelsea draw, Liverpool draw twice and Leicester won who were all above us at the time of playing them.

1. Sam will be gone before next season. He is talking utter bull because he always does but also because he wants the payoff
2. Bill will be gone(retired not deceased) before next season.
3. I haven’t a clue who our next manager will be

Not going anywhere. Best to get used to it.

I have a morbid curiosity and currently it wants to know what happens if we keep Alllardyce. This is not a good thing really.

Aye. But the levels of forum fume, Allardyce fan trolling, and miserable pathetic football would be off the scale. I know it's wrong, but it would be a sight to behold.

Post pub on Saturdays will be an absolute joy.

Will be just like the old days, heads exploding all over the place, the ban hammer in full swing ;)

Again I think you’re a million miles off With the minority shout.

A lot of the fans that have part accepted him this season, are the one who have been worried over relegation, I never thought we would get relegated abd would have had my house on us staying up with koeman or unsworth in charge.

Next season the majority of the fans will have a totally different mind set. And won’t be thinking let’s get to 40 points, I read today sam best points haul in the prem is 47. And will want to see us push on, try and win every game, not going To the bottom sides and shutting up shop. Giving up before we even play the top 6.

But if it’s the same turgid garbage getting served up except the fans to turn very quickly.
We will probably find out on Saturday evening what the reaction is.. A full Goodison should be the best indicator.

I wonder if we lost a few games as many will be sticking up for him? Given the shots on target stats we have been very lucky to get the points we have, the fact is we rely on individual moments, there's no pattern of play or ethos beyond getting behind the ball and nicking one. That's why I can't see progress beyond where we are under Sam. Sure he steadied the ship but it's time for a new captain or we will be further left behind.
