I'm not enjoying this hatred of 'our manager'. He came in to do a job and has delivered results. It's more about character assassination for some, no matter what happens on the pitch.

I'd love to see free-flowing footy, but that wasn't going to happen this season, whoever came in, with the confidence of our players having fallen through the floor. Frankly I find it all a little embarrassing.

BFS - his style of football is primitive and his lack of ambition is shocking.

Frankly, I find them both terribly embarrassing.

You find it a little embarrasing. That's exactly what i would describe our record against the top 6 sides this season.Embarrassing.It's a little embarrassing that we have fans who actually support this manager.

Really, really hope the club has some positive news lined up for tomorrow. Brands in, Allardyce going... anything. lol:pint2:

It wouldn’t appease this particular fan.

the Arsenal badge kissing, faking injury to stop our attack little bugger

I could never warm to the guy but I do think he would be in the running if Sam gets the boot. They only need to find themselves rebuffed by one or two candidates and he finds himself right up there in the running then. Be an enormous risk and not one worth taking. Sam must be talking him up already.

This season?

How about every season for quarter of a century?

Its also a little embarrassing that we are seemingly pretending that problems that have existed at the club for aeons are only bad this season and that its all down to one man who was here for half a season.

I don't even like the bloke! But I am sick of seeing things being skewed to make him look worse when they really don't have to be. The truth is grim enough without having to over exaggerate things or in some cases making things up entirely!

Our record last season suggests the problem goes deeper and further back than Allardyce.

And he's really helped himself with his comments to fans hasn't he?! It's not just about the results or the negative style it's the divisive way he conducts himself, he will never be accepted even if he has steadied the ship.
