What saddens me most. Allardyce has the opportunity to ram the criticism (over his style of play) down their throats. However he has reverted to type and shown that his ‘style’ of football is as outdated as it ever was, despite Everton achieving safety some weeks ago. Yes he has achieved a top 10 finish, but at some cost. With some boring, sterile football and contempt for the club’s supporters.
?? he never strayed from type - he is an archetype of anti-football. The polar opposite of the beautiful game, the poster-boy for ugly-football.

It's all about minimizing risks for this board. They, like us, knew exactly what we would get with him when they hired him. They seem to care only about staying in the PL, evidenced by the panic, disorganized nature of the appointment.
If they opt for the same for next season, well, then our club will become just another soulless corporation(can't even call it a sporting corp) far removed from the beautiful game, and even further away from winning anything.

I'm not enjoying this hatred of 'our manager'.
He came in to do a job and has delivered results. It's more about character assassination for some, no matter what happens on the pitch.

I'd love to see free-flowing footy, but that wasn't going to happen this season, whoever came in, with the confidence of our players having fallen through the floor.

Frankly I find it all a little embarrassing.

Sam has been happy to throw people at the club under the bus since he's come in.

This season?

How about every season for quarter of a century?

Its also a little embarrassing that we are seemingly pretending that problems that have existed at the club for aeons are only bad this season and that its all down to one man who was here for half a season.

I don't even like the bloke! But I am sick of seeing things being skewed to make him look worse when they really don't have to be. The truth is grim enough without having to over exaggerate things or in some cases making things up entirely!

A total of 9 goals conceded in North London, against Arsenal and Spurs this season. There's no over exaggerating that.It actually happened!

If Sam does not stay at Everton I think he will go back into retirement. I think this was too good a chance to turn down but he is coming to the end of his career and may not fancy life in the championship or struggling at the bottom of the premiership.

Thursdays are good days for club announcements. Just trying to go to bed on a positive note. Instead i will probably have nightmares about the shocking difference in our goals and the reds this season.

------------F A +/-
Liverpool - 80 37 43
Everton - 42 54 -12

Give anyone nightmares that would.

And they were awarded for it. o_O

Look, big fat spamhead isn't here because he likes to 'save' clubs, he isn't here to take us to the next level, he didn't come out of retirement to manage a 'big club', he's here for the money and that's it. He says stupid things on purpose because he wants the sack so he can steal his wages and eff off back to gravy town and laugh at how stupid this club is run.

EVERYONE OUT
