But if you treat each club as a separate date point, remembering that Occam's razor is about philosophy, rather than statistics, you have assumptions about each club but when you aggregate them, in order to comment about Allardyce in general, rather than in the case of each club, and, remember, there are five assumptions underlying your single assumption, you have a large number of assumptions. Not parsimonious! Its not an appropriate tool. But, as I wrote, you may still be right.
Hmm, if applied in that manner doesn't it mean that any scenario that may result from a series of coincidental events is indeed most likely a coincidence. That may follow, but I can't believe that was the intention of Occam. I suppose the alternative is that Occam's Razor is inapplicable whenever coincidences are a possibility but that would narrow the application to a tiny number of scenarios. Anyway, clubs go down after Allardyce has managed them in part because he is only recruited to clubs in crisis and then he only manages them with the short term in mind, in my opinion. Allardyce out. (Just about kept it on topic mods :D)

I just don’t understand how any Evertonian is not saddened and disgusted that Allardyce, the god of anti football, has been allowed near our club,

I was made up when Moshiri came on board, but, for such a reputedly “ shrewd businessman”, he just does not seem to have any understanding of what he has bought into. I won’t be like some on here and attack him for not spending money, he has done that, but he has not spent it wisely.

Listen to the fans Mr. Moshiri, listen to former blues like Joey Royle and Neville Southall and get a feel for what this club is about.

Your first job is to get rid of Allardyce and then tell Blue Bill his time is up, his cronies from the boardroom need to go with him. Hire a competent CEO appoint a capable director of football, get a progressive young coach to work with him and never, and I mean never, let a twot like Allardyce anywhere near our club. We are much too big a club to employ the likes of him.

If you can not understand that you can do one as well.

Spot on mate

Look at Super Kev, the man didn’t win a pot and played in one of the worst times in our history.

He has more love for this club than people who win everything like Sharp and Ratcliffe

Sup Kev and Big Nev, the men of the people

Saved us, when he came in and then formed that partnership with the rat, Jeffers the following season.

He`s got more integrity than Sharp and Ratcliffe put together.
