I'm not sure I'm with you in this one mate. Are you saying that you think the club has made a decision, have told Allardyce, but have decided not to make this information public yet until they have a definite announcement on his replacement?. Or are you saying that you can't believe no decision has been made on his future yet?
I think the decision has been made, Allyrdyce knows. I could not see anything else making sense at such a late stage.
I think that if Sam is leaving then his replacement must be agreed and ready to start work because Sam is right that the squad needs to be pruned and we all know that at the same time we need to bring players to the club in a few positions that are first team starters rather than squad players.
