Not arguing we're crap right now mate but martinez is the only manager we've had in my time who had us playing decent footy. Even then the players barely moved or made runs.

We never ever play through the middle either

Ps. The football under koeman was exactly the same as this but we had barkley and lukaku to score goals
Tbf we had some decent stuff last season, but that didn’t start until Davies broke through. He hasn’t been the same this season and it has shown.

Oh come off it, Moyes teams were so much better than this it's untrue. The players at least had an idea of what their roles were in the attacking third. Just think about the Pienaar and Baines combination we had together with Coleman bombing on. This team has none of that.
Moyes football was dull and boring, without baines/pienaar it would be the same negative percentage football as this etc.

Martinez is the only manager who let us off the leash and have a go at teams

That's Sam's mo- focuses on the containment/defensive side but relies on players instincts in attack. Problem is if a player is just told where to be to defend then they're not going to get forward too often. T's balance. What's the strategy to undermine saints? Contain and counter? Fine, we know they need the points let them get desperate and hit them but I'm not even sure he's set up for that
Exactly right the players are following the tactics that he wants them to follow eg without the ball sit deep, hold the formation, don’t come out of those defensive lines hence why there’s no intensity or closing down. BFS has been doing the same for over 25 years
