May he have had input, got no idea, but neither do any pundits, did he motivate the players, no idea either, maybe they actually felt shame for the way they'd played under Unsworth and taking the piss and grew a pair for a rare change with it being his last game.
No chance Allardyce has anything to do with that result last night, that’s unfair on Unsworth who’s took a lot of criticism (and rightly so) only from this point onwards the criticism and praise belongs to Allardyce.

No it is not. Its a couple of weeks into the season, options are limited at that time.

Why should Steve Walsh's head roll over a manager who has not even managed a game for us yet??

See what happens and then decide if his head should roll or not.
I doubt very much choosing a new manager would be part of a DF's remit. But then if you have an agenda that's hardly going to matter.

Unsworth said it was his team choice on BTSport. Although after the game Rooney stumbled over the answer about if the team had seen Sam.

he didn't he stumbled over being asked did you see or talk to him before/after the game, which he stumbled initially and then batted it off with i have only just come off the pitch straight to here

So yeah probably spoke to some players maybe all - but no more than that

Yup myself the result was perfect because if they give him the credit - then it's a bar for him to live up to now

Rooney played his heart out for Unsworth last night, BT were a disgrace at HT saying it was all Allardyce's doing why we were better.

Sigurdsson and Rooney were the best outfield players with the former putting his best display in a Blue shirt in since he came.

if we get a win on Saturday then the season looks completely different, would we be in a relegation fight then? I reckon Sam will be here till end of the season then we will move him on

More than likely it was that.

Dont forget the home affect. Two games at home two wins.

I wasn't the slightest bit surprised we won last night. The only surprise was the clean sheet.

Here's one thing i thought about the game, maybe knowing finally the job was someone elses enabled himself to just do what he thought best rather than second guessing himself and trying to impress too much - went back to basics so to speak, played who he wanted and where and just got on with it.

Or alternatively he just thought 'f' it i will give this a go, i have nothing left to loose anyway - and he stumbled upon what happened

I wish the absolute nob sniffer that organises these videos would get a wiggle on, he takes far to long on them the helmet.

It would be interesting to know how many of the posters harping on the Fat Sam line are sitting that close to their computer desks.:pint2:
We're not stealing a living as Everton manager though. In fact we're pattly financing it through going the match and tv subscriptions.

We're entitled to our say in just the same way Fat Sam supporters are.

And yes ny mates do call me Fat Freddy.

Yes, it's why he gave them both barrels after Southampton.
