Was driving home after game and local radio had Klopp on soooo naturally switched over..dont like it but had Talksport on...and they were all but saying it was Allardyce who picked the team and motivated them ....he is a Talk sport fav...they simply wernt having it was Unsworth ..even to the guys calling in

He may have had input mate, i don't know, but what i do know is that none of these pundits know either, and it's massively disrespectful tom Unsworth insinuating this.

Again down to recruitment process...steve Walsh's head should roll

No it is not. Its a couple of weeks into the season, options are limited at that time.

Why should Steve Walsh's head roll over a manager who has not even managed a game for us yet??

See what happens and then decide if his head should roll or not.

So the recruitment process that saw us sack our previous manager and without having his replacement lined up , not showing fat Sam enough love and then returning to him six weeks later when we're desperate so he can bend us over a barrel isn't a shambles... not to mention player recruitment during the summer.... well ok then ...

We are at home against them mate, that's why i said it's as easy a game as you could have dreamt of for any new manager, in fact west ham and Huddersfield was gonna be an absolute Godsend to whoever got this job, notice the media have already jumped on giving BFS the credit for yesterday as well.
That's ridiculous. He starts at the weekend.

He's arrived here with us in 13th. In his other jobs he's bumped a team no more than 3 places further on as far as I understand.

He'll have to equal that or better it to be thought as a worthwhile appointment here this season.

I fully agree but him and the media will definitely turn it in their favour, I don' think they will ever mention him starting in 13th, they will always say we were struggling around relegation.

May he have had input, got no idea, but neither do any pundits, did he motivate the players, no idea either, maybe they actually felt shame for the way they'd played under Unsworth and taking the piss and grew a pair for a rare change with it being his last game.

More than likely it was that.

Dont forget the home affect. Two games at home two wins.

I wasn't the slightest bit surprised we won last night. The only surprise was the clean sheet.
