But if Allardyce does well doesn’t that mean everton are doing well & isn’t that what we all want...or is there another agenda

Good question mate.

I didn't want him
I still don't want him

Everton are winning and that's what will always matter more than my opinion. A winning Everton means the world and let's be honest it makes us all more tolerable in the real world when Everton are doing well.

Still don't want him mind but I will give credit where it's due such as getting some organisation in defence and discipline on the field.

I think it's ok to say I want Everton to do well but not have to be happy that he's in charge.

If he wins us the fa cup, qualifies us for the CL this season, does the treble next season I'm sure I will review the situation then ;)

Glad to see you guys getting to safety ;)... January will be pretty interesting to see who he brings in. I always thought that he would do alright he had some significant financial backing, but I can't see him moving away from his hoofball Plan A, when he has the personnel available.

He is a big fan of playing %'s, so I imagine you will see a lump or at least someone who can hold the ball up arrive in Jan, hopefully Carroll...!

If he wasnt a crock it wouldnt be the worst idea, but sadly he has legs of spaghetti.

I don't think he'd suit you. When Carroll is in the team, the midfield might as well not be there, whereas you guys seem to be wanting to pass it around through midfield (I guess maybe since you have no proper striker?). His immobility really stifles his team mates own movement and unless you have someone like Nolan who is just going to hover in his vicinity and not do much more, he's pretty redundant. It's easy to set up against and to be honest, he seems to have lost his desire...at least to play for West Ham, in my opinion.

I would keep him as a sub, but as it is, he's burning a huge pony tail shaped hole in our wage bill whilst sometimes not even making the match day squad when "fit".

Cant say ive seen much of him recently, I based it on the player he could have been I suppose.

But also yes, IMO we have no real Striker, we have the young lad DCL who is getting better every game, but you cant expect miracles from a 20 year old lad learning the game.

Yeh, to sum it up, he's pretty pony

He’s a fat crook
A little over the body mass he should be for a man of his age.Crook? I think you have to be found guilty of something for that one to stick. As I suggested in an earlier post to another member.Try taking out a column in the Echo stating he's a crook and wait to see what happens. As a club we've employed ex-convicts,drunk drivers, wife beaters.....and yet not the enmity he has generated.

Those that dont want him at Everton are still the ones who in hindsight will say "well we wouldnt have gone down anyway". I'm happy he is here, feel confident for now with him in charge, he knows what he is doing and more importantly we are well on the way to the safety point for survival.
