I think that will be the crux of how SA will be viewed, if we bring in flair and pace and we see improvements he may get a bit more acceptance from the fan base. It is intriguing to watch as I even guess for SA this is most probably the highest profile role he has undertaken... besides the England job

When Bolasie and Seamus are both back, its pretty difficult not to have an injection of pace anyrate. I for one am quite confident a less stereotype SA will evolve with the team.

We’re huge favourites tomorrow. Going to be interesting to see how he sets up.

Wouldn't be surprised to see quite a turgid affair. Very difficult to go from getting the basics right to free flowing attacking football.

If Swansea have got any sense they'll do to us what we've done to Newcastle and Liverpool. If they get their shape right it'll be a long night.

I can also see this one being a long night, it sure is a different kettle of fish when we are the team that needs to take the initiative.

hopefully we will see what we can do in possession tomorrow.

Which is wh Big Sam should still be shown the door in the summer.

why? what difference does it make to them?
There are Clubs where the Owner/Chairman has a say in the team, they dictate tactics in some cases.

what difference would it make if Sam had a chat with Mourinho the week before the Derby to see to confirm his own suspicions or ask him what they specifically targeted? At the end of the day the Manager makes the decision and he can ignore the advice if he wants.

If we'd have lost against West Ham then nobody would have batted an eyelid as he'd lost most of his games before that and Sam was taking over the next day. The fact we suddenly played in a different way and put a shift in for the first time in months shows some external effect acted on the Team. Sam having talked to the Team, and Unsworth before the match, and sitting in the Crowd with the players knowing he was going to be in charge of their future at the Club is an obvious external effect.

As I say, all involved will have played down Sams involvement due to respect for Unsworth taking his last game, but it is obvious to see.
Didn't Barry Fry do the team talks at Peterborough as owner ?
