It was no secret that this man was my no.1 choice of all the realistic candidates available (I.e. everyone bar Tuchel and Simeone) I’m very happy with his performance so far and I am sure the board are as well.

Certainly we would have conceded lots under Silva and probably been smashed for 3 or 4 at Anfield as well.

What flair players do Everton actually have? I’m talking players light on their feet who are smart that can see a pass?

None, maybe Vlasic is the closest?

You play with the players you have a and we can’t play a style that doesn’t suit our players he’s already said that.

Rumours up here in Sunderland are Sam is going to take Wahbi Khazri to Everton??..did ok for us..scored a screamer against Chelsea...don't believe it myself but Sam will get the best out of him if he does..one I could believe though is Patrick Van Aanholt from Palace..always seemed better as a wing back than a conventional full back but his play came on leaps and bounds under Allardyce.

You can't get Khazri cos he can't play for three clubs in a season.

Patrick van Aanholt is a knob. But Sam is the only manager who's ever got him playing well.

I think it would be interesting to see what lookman could do in a more central role, he certainly has the skills for it,
